Today I made my first DIY tutorial on this blog. When I was walking in to my bedroom, I saw my old jeans skirt which was couldn't use anymore. Then, I had an idea to remake that skirt and made it become a clutch. I think, the clutch is useful, because it is big and I can put many stuffs, like handphones, lipgloss, pen, scissoris, etc!
Well, here it is! My DIY - Multipurpose Clutch -
Here are the steps! Wait, before do this DIY, I want to tell you something... Maybe, this DIY is not really easy to follow, because I make it from the basic ( from a real skirt! ), but don't worry.. I have made the tutorial as simple as I can, ok? so, lets start it!
1. Of course, prepare all the stuffs that we need : Skirt, ( I use all the materials that have already attached on the skirt ), scissors, glue, sewing kit, and a special zippers ( I took it from my old senior high school skirt, :))
2. Cut the skirt into two sections in the center.
3. Take a half section then cut again and make sure that the size is 10 cm x 15 cm
4. Then, sew it on left,right and bottom side.
5. After that, make a design of right-angled triangle ( segitiga siku2 ) on right and left side, both of them on top and bottom.
6. After you make that sewing, the clutch will look like this and you can flip it out..
7. Then, add zipper to the clutch, but before do that, we must cut it out from the skirt.
8. Sew it to the clutch and make sure to sew it outside the clutch.
9. Now your clutch has done! But, it's still dull.. Lets add some decoration!
10. I take the bottons from the skirt, you can add any decoration as you like.
11. Get the glue and stick all of them on the clutch.
12. And, tadaaaa!! Your clutch is fully done! Now, you can use it for various purpose and I use it to put my various stuffs, especially my make up and handphone.. :) Simple and of course, You Can Make It by Yourself and You Can Utilize Second Hand Stuff or Old Stuff into A Fabolous Stuff!
